In 1996 I had the silly idea for a last minute (call and go) 10 day trip to Japan.

Basecamp in Kyoto with trips to Takayama and Hiroshima. A strange hostelowner who played golf on the street in the middle of the night.

The strangest experience I had was a samurai movie shooting in Kyoto. They needed white people for the movie.
