Forefather is I.1 Hans Barend DIJKMAN, born in Brunter (Brundersen) in earldom Lippe, Germany around 1714.
Presumably was his name Diekmann (or Deichmann) name translated in dutch.

Via this link to the registration poorter of Amsterdam on 8 October 1748. It costed 50 guilder and so he was probably his own boss.
Hans Barend Dijkman from earldom Lippe, droogscheerder has etc. and the Heeren Thas 't poortergeld paid: is poorter.

Married on 27-10-1741 in Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam to widow Grietje OOTMARINK.
The orphanage has been satisfied, which means that there were minor children. Her father's name is Hendrik Ootmarijns.
When he died on 28-03-1759 (only 45 years old) he was living outside the raampoort on the stadsbuijtensingel.
That would now be the Nassaukade near the Bloemgracht.
He was buried with deck and bar (luxury) at the Carthuizerkerkhof in the Jordaan, Amsterdam.
She was buried on 11-02-1769 at the Zuiderkerkhof.
